Don't let Tire Rack convince you to get 215s either
225/45R17 offset 35-42, Are perfect (unless, of course, you go 18).
If you want skinner, go 205/50R17.
But there's no good reason to go 16 (unless, of course, you already got the tires)
Even so, sell the tires and go 17 or 18 (17s are a little more versatile but 18s look the best and probably perform better).

Obviously the standard size wheel and tire setup nowadays are 17's. Tires for 15's & 16's are so cheap you will probably outlast any of us with 17's and 18's. I know for a fact anyone with 20's are probably going through those tires in about 6 months, because of weight and wear, along with turn radius. It takes more torque to turn those wheels and you end up rippin' the crap out of them between turns and stops. I thinks 20's are not ment for street unless you're running monster tires. Then it serves a "look" purpose than a functional one.
As for current wheels on my car, they are Tuner wheels ADR M-Sports. I'm considering the TSW's series again, and may go with a flat design than the old fashion "web". I like the deep dish look, but these are so BMW.
