Central Locking System
Anybody here upgraded their car with remote control lock/unlock system? There's got to be a part of the electrical circuit within the car where you could tap in a relay output from a simple control unit.

There's plenty of people that have key-less entry on their cars. You have to unhook the vacuum pump thing whatever...then go from there. I'm not too sure, but someone that knows will respond soon! lol

central locking is pnuematic, not electric.

yes and no. the actual locking is pnuematic but it is activated electronically.
there are a couple of different sellers of an easily installed kit that will do the
job. just google for "w124 keyless entry".

for your keyless system yes. but being that i dont remember a keyless fob/ transponder for the 124s you had to use a key to open.

how is that electronic?

if the system overloads and stops working the "fix" is to disconnect
the battery to reset. how is that pneumatic?

Mercedes Benz 230E W124
Mine using remote control system to lock and unlock the central locking system. It was installed with some relay to activate the vacuum pump and its comes with multi control unit as alarm system.
But I do encounter a problem where sometimes the vacuum pump won't week after 2 weeks times later. I won't say it is alarm system that create this problem to the vacuum pump as when operate manual from driver door it still the same. Could you guys advice what are the causing for this problem?
