My 88' 300TE BangWagon Build

Hello new to the Wagon Scene but not new to the w124. used to have a 300E when i first got on this forum and wreaked it and promised myself i would get another when i had the chance. Well that chance came up 2 yrs later when i found a 88' 300TE for $550 on craigslist. by no means did this car look like the pics below the car looked like it had been mudding ( seller didnt wash or clean the inside or out) wheels where Black from all the dust and dirt on them. inside was full of white dog hair, crayons ,color books, candy. cereal, old milk stains and coke stains. All this helped me get the price down cheap because i can look past the dirt and mess. Only real problems was the Rear Spheres are out so it bounces like crazy.

After a Day of cleaning and washing this is what i got it to look like.

And the newer side molding i bought a long time ago for the 4 door 300E benz.

i painted the grill black cause it was old and faded.

Nice optional dash wood, did you get the seat heaters too? I just saw another $500 bargain TE with these options.

Great to see you undertake painting it yourself I would guess?

Let us know the details on what level of prepwork, primer, paint + clearcoat you are using. Just curious...I love to know these things

18x9.5 I knew those must have been WIDE LOL! Planning to put any sort of drop on the car? Those 18's will make the height pretty tall.

Oh damn!

Do you have the SLS in the rear hooked up, and what springs did you use in the back?

my spheres where shot in the back and bouncy as hell (cause it was stuck on the hydro shocks so i turned it all the way down rides way better) then cut the front and rear springs.

Yeah I mentioned something in another thread about your fenders being a little bent from your wheels. Looks like youre taking care of it though!
