Another nifty gadget, for northerners only...
This is how I am planning to spare the mulicylinder engine in my Star from Stuttgart this winter; Wolverine Engine Oil Heaters
Heat where it is needed the most, in the oil. It is an effective and easy lowbudget way for eliminating the toll coldstarts have on the engine. However, I am paining for a Weber-type fuel heater, heating the coolant and interior-compartment regardless of access to electricity.
Funny, what brought this to my mind a day like this... 90 degrees F, and the humidity not far behind...
