95 e320 vert wheel fitment

**I want to start by saying that I checked out the wheel fitment guide and it is like idk my left from my right when it comes to MB**

I am building a set of wheels for the car in the title. I was wondering what kind of widths and offset will work with this vehicle? Owner wants good fitment, but were unsure on how wide to make the rears. He has plans to lower it as well in the future.

The wheels I am building are AMG Aero 1 three piece wheels.

Pics for a clicks.

Any info is greatly appreciated. They are for a gentleman I am selling the wheels too and I would like to build them to have some killer fitment.

You're on vortex right?

Are they going to be staggered? how wide are the lips?

Anything over 9" wide on the rear with an offset of LESS than +35 he would need to roll the fenders.

You can rent a spring compressor and fender roller here, but they're in California.

Anything bigger than 17 x 7.5 your going to run the risk of rub.
The production AMG 1 multipiece for the W124 was 17 x 7.5 ET 42.
Some ran 8 inch to 8.25 at the rear but with wheel arch mods.
Staggered 17 x 7.5/8.5 works but the rear needs to be around ET30.
I ran C Class this size on my 88 Coupe with Eiback Pro lowered suspension.
What size are you planning ?

17x8 +35 to +42 will not rub, you don't even have to do any fender work on Eibachs or H&Rs. I've done 18x8.5 +42 on 225/40/18s on eibachs and didn't have any issues.
