Smile Brake Disc info? Which Chasis?

I'm getting ready to purchase a new set of rotors for my Benz, but unfortunately there are two choices when it comes down to purchasing them.

The two choices are Chasis: B864307 and B 864308, I was told that the choice would be the last number of my Vin but my rides ending digit is a 9 and i was looking at my registration, and my Benz states it as Special Edition.

Has anyone bumped into this problem and which rotors would be the best bet. I was told that the Balo rotors are the stock rotors that come with the Benz out of the factory. What are your opinions? Thanks for the help.

Oh I just purchased a set of Tezzen Arc 18x8 on 225x35 so i'll have pics up as soon as i get them on. I'm hoping to get the rotors and everything put in the same day.

So any and all help will be appreciated!

Thanks

The chassis numbers you mention indicated the start and end ranges. In your case you will go with the B864308 part, because your serial number comes after that.

I bought the Balo rotors recently and they're fine. If you're into the performance scene you might want to try cross-drilled Zimmermans.

Actually, I think that you need to look at more of your VIN. The last digit does not matter as much as the last six do. In this case there exist two types of rotors; one for cars up to B 864307 and one for cars from B 864308. If the last six digits of your VIN are 000001 - 864307 go for the first version, otherwise go for the ones indicated for B 864308 and later. This notation is sometimes indicated by:

- B 864307 Meaning early version or up to this number
B 864308 - Meaning late version or after this number.

So if the last six of your VIN are for example B864309, you need the earlies.

OH, by the way, if your last six are 000001, please call me immediately!

Wouldn't that be the late version?
