Racor SNAPP 23106-02 Diesel Fuel Filter/Water Separator

I am new to the diesel forum here but not new to MB diesel engines. I was wondering if anyone has put this unit in their diesel engine. I have a 1995 E300D OM606 NA engine. If this is even possible to put on the fuel lines.
