W124 Sticky Turn Signals
Hello folks, looking for some help. My '87 300Ds turn signals are being stuck on. I'll flick the stick to indicate a turn and instead of normal intermittent flashes the signal will just stay on. In hot weather, I have to manually push the lever up and down to create the signals actual function. Does anyone know why this is happening?
Let me know, and thanks, Riley |
W124 i think it time to replace the flasher relay . Some are at the rear of the speedo , or in the centre console ,.by gear selector lever ,

You either have a faulty stalk or relay!
|
Your relay is in the box at the rear, of the fuse box .Under the hood you will see 2 boxes its in the one at the bake .First box holdes the fuses, and the back one the re;ays . With the top off you will see 12 relays depending on what equipment is in you car .The flasher unit is for hazards turn signal and a few othe items .This wont be cheap , unles you get one from the pick and pull yard .It is white in colour and the last one in the row on the centre and larger than the others .

First try the hazard flashers on there own if it flashes the hazard lights then its in the inicator stalk on the column.
