Blower motor fuse location for '89 300E

'09 CLK550 & 2012 E350
Blower motor fuse location for '89 300E
All the various manuals say that the 30amp blower motor fuse is outside the main fuse box. So where is it?

260E , 1989 (for now)
Fuse is located on the left side of the car, in front of the fuse box.
Look for a black plastic box around the left front shock absorber tower. The fuse is a metal strip, about 1 1/2in long, secured by 2 screws. Good luck
