E420 cooling fan issue
 
the high speed electric fan that’s suppose to kick in with temp isn’t working.... help? I unplugged the sensor that’s suppose to kick it on but it’s not turning on... anyone have any ideas?

Am not sure how the E420 system works. Do you have dual fans, one not working and supposed to work only on high temperature, or both fans operate at two speeds dependent on temperature. The possibilities for a non-operating fan are: dead electric fan, poor/loose wiring contact, bad temperature sensor, bad fan control switch.... Check that the fan itself is in order and if so the culprits would be the rest.

it was the fuse. Also the fan clutch is dead. So replaced that too. Now my machanical and electric fans work
