1995 320E Stereo System

Hello:

I just bought a 1995 320E with 92,000 miles. It has the factory cassette stereo, which I assume is Blaupunkt. On the stereo control
panel there is a button for CD play. But I don't see a CD unit in the trunk, or maybe I missed it. Is the CD player an add-on?
If so, what's the name of the component, and where do I get it? I really don't want to start fooling around with the wiring on an
older car.

Any advice welcome - thanks!

It used to work with Alpine 6 CD Changer and adapter, which is pre-wired and installed in the bottom left of the trunk floor. If you ask any car stereo place - they know.
