Looking for a decent Mercedes mechanic in Chicago area

Hello forum members.
As in the title looking for someone to work on my car. aitbis 1990 300e. I’ve done a bunch of stuff to it including a head gasket but still have problems with leaks. And some other small things. I’d like to ask if anyone knows about any good place that knows those cars preferably in northern Chicago suburbs other than Burdi motors in Schiller Park. Their price for valve seals was ridiculous and I do not want to visit them again. I’d appreciate any and all input.

rafichicago do you know where the coolant is leaking from ? Did you replace the water pump ? Or is it still getting in to the oil ?

I don’t have a coolant leak antwhere. its leaking oil. Not from head gasket though. Maybe oil pan and some leak by the oil filter housing.

I don't know about Chicago area mechanics, but I had a bad leak coming off the back of the oil filter housing, which turned out to be the oil level sender. 40 dollar part, and with the oil filter removed, it’s fairly easy to replace (one wrench, and unplug the sender wire). Worth looking into, and trust me, when my original sender was failing, so much oil was coming out that on highway runs it would leak down onto the exhaust and burn off when you came to a stop.
