I have a 1992 300ce. The engine started to leak coolant between the cylinder head and block. I had a repair shop replace the head gasket, but it continue to leak coolant, that was a couple years ago. Now I want to get my car running again. Fearing the 300ce has locked up and the cost to repair, I found a 1990 300sl engine. My question is will the 300sl engine swap with the 300ce engine, with no problem?
