Hi everyone, I just recently purchased a 300e and so far love the car. Ive done some routine maintenance including new front wheel bearings, front tie rods, 4 wheel alignment, new tires, and new brakes all around. Everything else checked out ok but Im still having an issue.
One, is even after all all the new parts and four wheel alignment, and all the existing parts being inspected, the car will wander on the highway at times all of sudden as if youre driving during a windy as gusty day.
Second, unrelated, there is a very rough idle at times but no check engine light, plugs are new, wires are new, cap and rotor are new, air filter and fuel filter are new and I run premium fuel. Any ideas?
I would take it to a good independent mechanic that knows these old MBs well - I think the wandering could be caused by a loose/worn out steering box too.
