Recall for 210's?
Ok here's the question. While it was in there, they informed her of some kind of door seal recall that I'd never heard of. Anyone have info?
The paperwork here states campaign# 2005030005, per MB Campaign, DC 72 900 377.
He had said something about the glue that had been used was a problem???
Anyway, that is what I know, HTH!
Campaign - 2005030005
Part# - PRES4D00329 Sealant
I did not ask what exactly it fixed.
What a rip-off, just like I was once quoted 2 hours to replace a MAF.
I have detail pix & instruction of how to do it. If someone in Saratosa willing to help your mom, I'll post or email instruction.

Mine does the same thing. It actually goes on and off depending on the position of the person sitting in the passenger seat, which points to a loose sensor connection. The sensor is a wide pancake under the seat cushion which can be replaced by laymen if you are adventuresome. Otherwise, the dealer can replace it for about $220 for the part plus 3 hours labor.
A friend in Greece has done the job himself, and he says it wasn't difficult, and that he'd show me step by step next time I see him. If so, I'll post the instructions here.

My SRS light stayed on after starting the car, it was like that for a week and I took it to the dealer, the reciept said it was a faulty child seat recognition sensor. It was replaced under warranty. I searched the boards for the SRS problem before taking it to the dealer and there were some posts talking about some possible loose connections under the seat.
