Can someone make those lights not look so gay? LOL. They need to make stock looking lights with 4 full rows of LED's on the bottom. That would be sick.

I tried them, they don't look as high quality or produce good light as OEM one. Look more like kitty-rice you often see on back of Civic or Acura. But that's my opinion. I saw them on eBay for $360-400. I wouldn't put them on my car.

If you really want them, I have supplier who offer me $200/pair. I can hook you up directly with them.

Thats alright Zam...I tend to avoid the "kitty-rice" products. I'll take your word for it.

The one pictured is the first version that was put out. The new version of these lights do look like the OEM light, but like Zam says, the light output as well as visibility round the corner is crap as hell, I have seen them personally and lit up by a 12V powersource. Also, the middle lights are not LEDs which looks silly.....so I passed on them even though they offered for me to try before I buy.

Taiwan isn't necessarily crap then, but still a German car should stay German... as a Japanese car should stay Japanese.. IMHO.

Not trying to be a smarta$$ but the sad fact is, a lot of European cars and/or parts are now made or assembled in Asia (China for one) and South Africa, including AMGs.....

BTW, you would be surprized. The quality of China workmanship has improved significantly in the last decade...a lot of branded goods are now manufactured there...whilst Taiwan has always made cheap but inferior goods, especially replicas - these lights are an example (just to bring this back to topic )

I've also got deep seeded, religiously based reasons to boycott China made items... and you'd be surprised how little I own that's made there.. it's hard to avoid some items. But I go strongly out of my way, and pay more for made in X over made in China.. Made in Taiwan is ok from a personal standpoint.. but to put it on a German car is a no-go for me... no matter how cool it looks.

I'm sure some of the micro electronics are made there, but that's pretty much a given (short of the CPU's for the ECU) for every car, including a Bentley or Ferrari.. so goes life.
