Jammed rear seatbelt...anyone??
My 2001 E430 has a jammed rear seatbelt. It looks like it is twisted inside there? Anyone have to deal with this or any clue how to remove the rear seat area to get at it?
Thanks in advance for any help or insight!

I believe that the dealer will fix it for free. When my old civic seatbelt got stuck the dealer replaced it for free. And that was a honda dealer, so hopefully MB will be better than honda right?

The one behind the driver was jammed out (would not retrtact) on mine. It took me about 20 minutes but I just kept working the belt by pulling/releasing, I made no progress for 15 minutes (more pulled out unretracted), then it reeled in about half and then took the rest. It's been fine since. No way the dealer is going to fix it for free.

Well I brought the car in for an 'A' service & mentioned the seatbelt to them & low & behold they actually fixed it free of charge. (House of Imports, FWIW)
Now it looks like my rear window regulator has gone out on that side. Guess I should be thankful it lasted as long as it did...replaced the opposite end last year. Sigh. Could be worse, right?
Thanks guys!
