Opinions Please!!!

I have a 2000 E320 with 109k on it black/black. The car is in perfect condition, no scratches, dents, the inside is in brand new condition. it has Navigation, HID headlights, DVD system in headrests, 19" Brabus repilica wheels (staggered)and no mechanical issues. I have had an oppurtunity to but a 2000 E430 Sport, maroon/tan, in just as good condtion as mine with 50k on it and they are asking 15.995. This car does not have navigation....

I'd like to get anyones opinion on what they think.

Personally I would keep the E320...unless you want to have a V8 and like the Sport package look. You can always have a GPS installed or get a portable one which is better if you have more than 1 car.

I do like the look of the sport and the V8, I also like the color and the miles are a huge plus. How much would you think it would cost for getting the factory navigation into the e430 sport?

Have you looked into swapping your NAV-COMAND for the plain radio in the other car? Just a guess, but that might be the least expensive way to get what you want in the E430 Sport. One way or the other, I would be very tempted to sell your E320 and buy the E430, but like you, I like my COMAND system; I could live without the NAV because these older systems are pretty crude.

Im guessing that would be something to ask come negotiation time. They were throwing around giving me 10,000 for the 320. I think for trade in value thats a good price. Id probably be able to sell it around 13 for private party. Anyway, I really like my Command Nav. Im not sure I can settle with a plain radio.

Yeah, like Musik said, either swap it out or just buy another Command system and have it installed. I just bought a Euro spec for mine with the TV tuner and DVD go. I got a great deal and will hopefully have it installed soon.

Because I have the need for speed lately, lol, I would totally go with the 430 sport. Now if you can get away with it, swap the wheels if you still like them and the Command so you won't be missing out on your mods. The sport bodykit is just like the AMG on the E55 and it looks really nice. Just my $0.02.

JUST KEEP YOU OLD ONE BRO, YOU ALREADY HAVE IT, PLUS ITS NOT EVEN THAT HIGH OF MILEAGE. PLUS YOULL SAVE YOURSELF MORE GAS THAN DRIVING A V8.

I agree with you, i test drove it today and the car is a much different drive than mine. They wont swap the NAV if I trade it in. Where did you get yours and what kind of deal did you get. I would really hate to lose that because I love the factory COMMAND.

I got mine from another member parting his car in here. Just keep your eyes peeled and you'll find one. You may also contact Steve MBenzNL in here as he flies out to the states from the Netherlands every couple of months and does Command installs for people along with a bunch of other different types of mods as well. Don't forget to also check ebay...
