2000 E320 135K car has always run like a dream. Last week after running about 22 min. the vehicle just cut off. No chech engine light. Temp. 90 degrees C. After about 20 min. the vehicle started fine and will drive an addtional 20 min. I have checked the fuel pump and fuel relay, they are both working fine. Someone suggested thst the computer connections may be loose. where might the computer be located. I would guess under the right or left dash panel on front of the front seats. This is a well cared for car. New tires, serviced at the right times. Never been in any kind of accident. The miles are all road mile from Baltimore Md. to Ocean City Md. Once again the Check Engine light only when to first start and then goes out just as it always has. Thanks for any help that you may shed. Stewartpos@comcast.net

Crank position sensor,IF it goes bad you don't go.Sounds like it's going bad.The engine heats up 20 minutes into the drive the heat affects the cps you stop,car cools,you go etc. etc. etc.,no codes.They are a weak link that a lot of us have experienced and an easy fix,for the money,and time involved,start there and check for stored codes as above stated,however pretty sure it's what it is...
Code readers can be had at harbor freight tools for $39,and worth their weight in gold.Or you can go to autozone pep boys schucks and have them read your codes for free,while you wait to buy your own.
