CD Changer Intstall For 2000 E320
I have a CD Changer to install. I can't find anywhere on the drivers side trunk area to mount it. I have a mount that has two tabs, one that looks like it slides into a slot, and the other has a hole for a screw or bolt. Where can I find this mounting area?

no, each of the two tabs has a hole. the tabs simply rest atop the trunk floor,
extending down into the 'well' to the left of the trunk floor. two sheet metal
screws secure the tabs to the floor. dat-sit. if the trunk floor has no matching
holes, it's a simple drill operation....< 1 minute. natch, you'll need to live the
carpeted trunk floor cover to reveal the sheet metal before drilling.

ah...sounds like your changer is MC3010 then, right? those are slightly smaller
than the MC3198 which were used mostly with 99 and early 00 E320s. chances
high then that you bought changer and mount from someone who owned a w203
hey, how about mounting then to the bottom of the rear deck...?

Yea, its a 3010!! I'm either going to make a bracket or try like you said, and mount it to the deck lid. My next mission is to see what can be done with the led lights for my clock and outside temp. I've read other threads that say forget it!! And MB won't come out with an affordable fix. You would think that MB would want to satisify pre-owned MB owners to keep them coming back.

BTW, I sold a couple of my vehicles and am now driving my '01 E320 on a daily basis... I'm up to 3,800 miles!
