Hey everyone. I've searched through this forum but either my search skills are lacking, or I can't find what I'm looking for and need to ask a question.

Looking for someone with a very recent aftermarket radio install that features Bluetooth and SiriusXM. I've been under the impression that these cars have fiber optic use with the sound system that makes this a challenge? At least it was for my '99 CL back when I tried. But that was a few years ago.

Anyway, my ride is a 2000 E430 that I just picked up.

If this is possible, and you've done this recently, could you post a pic or two?

as far as my brain tells me, the fiber optic only serves as connection between the stock head unit and the CD player. speakers and amp continues to use copper/analog

Try Crutchfield. They show what will fit and also provide the adapter kit. Makes it a breeze to install. I bought the Pioneer AVH - 3500 NEX for my 2000 E430.
