Mechanic not making sense.
1998 E320 38K miles.
I took my car to the mechanic because of the SRS light. He hooked it up to the computer (he has the MB computer that scans SRS codes). He told me that he couldn't detect any codes and wants me to leave the car so he can find out why.
Now, does that make any sense or is he trying to take me to the Cleaners? Thanks!

If he
has an updated star scanner,it should show pass/ fail check mark next to the fault.
Most likely passenger seat sensor.Inspect the wires to the seat to make sure they are not pinched.Diy on benzworld.org w210 diy section if not mentioned before.
