You can buy the keys, and the little bulb at the dealer. They are both cheap. Easy fix.

THANKS GUYS, I THINK I CAN FIX THE LIGHT MYSELF BUT NOT SURE ABOUT THE TEMP. PROBLEM. WIFE SAID WHEN BOTH SIDS ARE SET AT 85, DRIVER-SIDE HEATS UP, PASS.-SIDE BLOWS COLD. ANY HINTS? 2000 E320 4MATIC.
THANKS AGAIN LARRY |
Run the Onboard climate control
diagnostics and you will most likely discover the Duo-valve is stuck.
You can give them a tap(a firm drum like thump)with the end of a wooden screw driver handle.That usually frees it up,if not fixed then you can take it apart,clean it and lube it and problem solved. Post your data values 1-8 only and errors in the error mode.Write them down to post here and then in error mode press both auto buttons at the same time to clear the error block. :bow: |
olord;

Hey BMers , what kind of bulb do i need to replace my backlight A/C control panel screen that burned out ?
any clue!! |
It is a tiny
bulb only attained online but by the time you pay shipping cheaper at the dealer.
You will need a set of radio keys to pull the cc module,flip it over ,twist out the socket and replace the tiny bulb,install back in and job complete:y |
THANKS
thank you for you help. but do you have any idea about what type of bulb light is in the back of the AC PANEL?
