FSS won't reset

Hi All,

I just did an oil change, but I can't seem to get the FSS to reset on my 99 E300TD. I've done this before by following the directions in the manual with no problems ( key in 2 press O etc. ) but it doesn't seem to be working - any suggestions ?

Was the front door open? If so, close it.

Sometimes it takes it a time or two to accept the reset.

What Mr. Allison said. In addition, the door switch should be working. If they're not, the car will think the door's open (had that experience too).
