Door Locks trunk won't work
 

I have a 2000 E320 sedan. My remote is fine, the lights blink when I use it and the alarm arms, but the doors won't lock or unlock and the trunk won't open. The interior switches for the lock, trunk and rear headrests don't work either, but the radio is fine. Any suggestions?:nix:

on my 97 E320 i had to lock and then unlock the door with the key, then it worked fine, if not try to disconnect the battery and then connect it again, hope you have the radio code if it has an original radio. :y

first thing is to check the continuity of the circuits controlling the devices is
intact, ie check all the fuses. they are designed to be the weak point of any
circuit and to rupture if a power surge has exceeded the threshold.

the devices you have mentioned are primarily a function of (simplistically) PSE pump
and switched 12vdc so you'll need to systematically work downstream from the primary
power source: battery. if that is healthy, next is fuses, if they are all intact,
work downstream again to PSE, etc
