When you back up in parallel parking should the passanger mirror tilt down by itself to see the curb better? I don't think mine does that but it moves for some reason when I press the right side mirror adjustment button right after backing up.

My 98 requires the passenger mirror selected in order for it to face down to see the curb. If you leave it on the driver side, it will not face down.

Sometimes they get stuck if the mirror wa manually moved to one extreme postion or another. Try moving it all around using the joystick, center it, then go in reverse.
If that doesn't work, it might be bad.
