Drivers side visor won't move... HELP

My wife's 2000 E430 visor on the drivers side refuses to move... When we try to flip it down, it's like its LOCKED - and refuses to move. Like whatever is inside there is jammed or locked.. .HELP

You can disassemble it and try to free the mechanism.

Or get a new one. Parts.com, autohausaz.com, your local dealer.

hey man, i took both of mine off and sprayed some silicone into the mechanism and got it all moving without sticking...one loosened up and works just like new...the other is now loosey-goosey - it stays down all the time! ugh! why?!?!?
