'02 E-Class Special Edition's Arrived
Our first Special Edition E320SE arrived yesterday. The Quart Silver (code 760) to my eye looks exactly like Brilliant Silver. There is no 'Metallic Paint' charge, either.
MSRP for the E320SE base model is $48,450 plus $645 D&D = $49,095. In other words, the entire Special Edition (code 778) package is "free". ...RAB:) |
I saw it on the mb site and it looks like they are giving xeon lights, 17" wheels, sunroof and a few other items at n/c. A nice deal, wish they had that offer when I bought by 2000 E.

Special Editions...
RAB, I just checked the MBUSA site. Am I correct in reading that only the E320W and E430W get Special Editions? Nothing for the wagon? How sad...
|
I just saw a Quart Silver in front of my building last friday. I think it was a 430. I really like the wheels that come with them. Are those 17's or 16's? They looked like 16's.

Re: Special Editions...
Sorry, the E320S (Wagon) is being left out of the Special Edition program. ...RAB

E430SE's Have 17' Rims
The E430SE that just arrived has 235/45X17" Continental ContiSportContact. It's Obsidian Black/Oyster. Nice looking package. ...RAB

SE Xenons are for V8's only.
The Xenons are part of the E430SE package and are not included in the E320SE. ...RAB

Curious, is the special edition available in the 4 Matic???
|
RAB, thanks for the original reply above. Are you aware of what the 2003 lineup is already? E320/E350 and E500?
|
sosh, yes. Have you seen the MBUSA site? Special Editions are being run for E320, E320 4M, E430, and E430 4M sedans.

my aunt has one
my aunt just brought one earlier this week the 320. i think its quartz silver, it has a slight purple/pink hue to it very noticicible when next to our brilliant silver. it didnt have xenons but it had the birdseye maple. it seems liek they got a great deal for it even the cd changer was at dealers cost. the rims were 17 and they looked pretty similar to the sport ones.

The only MY03 E-Class that is listed at this time in M-B's Netstar is the E320W and the E500W. I don't, nor do I expect, anything with a E350W designation. ...RAB

Thanks, Robert.
That's good to know.
|
Yup, thanks Robert. What is this Netstar, if I may ask? just a curiosity question
|
Is there any word on the pricing of the 2003 E yet? Also, are dealers coming off of the MSRP on the SE version of the E?
Thanks for any input that you can provide! |
Netstar is an online dealer-only network with everything from sales announcements, to tech bulletins, to MBUSA announcements. Anything related to Mercedes-Benz, it's probably on Netstar.
