Yet Another Question--Rear Fog Light
Sorry for all the questions, but I'm going through this car, piece by piece, and fixing it up. I have no experience with Mercedes cars, so some things that I'm sure are common knowledge here are brand new to me. I'm thrilled to have such a great forum with great people to assist me as I discover things about this fascinating car.
I removed the rear fog light bulb, and can't get it back into its mount. (The little light blue plastic fastener). I think the fastener is broken or has a contact bent in such a way that it won't grab the bulb.
If I can't get a new bulb to fit into the fastener, where would be a good place to order the part? I'm ok with going to a dealer, but there's not one close to my home, and I'm guessing they'll want a pretty penny for this part. Is there a good on-line source for parts such as this?

Pull one of the brake lamps out, they have the same socket design. If it is actually broken, you'll most likely need to visit a dealer for the part.

Generally, autohausaz is a good source of repair and maintenance supplies. Many times you can get OEM fluids and filters for much less than the dealer. $50 min for free UPS ground.

Any auto store carries that bulb but if the socket is broken pick one up from an mb wrecking yard.

Ok, I get the dope of the day award. I played with it a little today, and found I was inserting the bulb incorrectly.
The link was worth looking like a fool, though. It will come in handy, I'm sure.
