white/blk 2002 E320 wagon 4Matic

After nearly 3 yrs absence, we've got a W210 wagon back into our family. We had bought a CPO R500 to replace our prior two W210 wagons(wife and i had matching silver 2000 wagons - mine was Lorinser). Ironically, this owner was selling it because they bought an R-class.
We really didn't need another car, but I LOVE wagons so my eye are always wandering. Although I drove many, including a E63 wagon, I never found a clean one that was as compelling. I also had a tough time justifying more for wagon as they usually had a premium over the equivalent sedans despite the MSRPs being similar when new. In addition, many of them have NOT been well cared for and/or had too many "soccer kids" in the car over the years. Bottom line, I had a soft spot for CLEAN WHITE/BLACK combo cars.
So here's the details:
115k miles 4Matic - very clean, original paint, and clearly garaged.
CPO lasted until 12/2008 - VMI was less than 2 pgs...so fairly clean.
the past two years, previous owner spent $6k fixing a variety of items ranging from CV boots, catalytic converters(2), pads/rotors/fluid flush, and motor mount.
There are a few small issues - would love some input:
1) power steering boost while car stationary is not working right - it's supposed to get extra boost so it's easy to turn, but it's not as easy to turn as my prior E320's.
2) slight pixels mixing on left temp, and driver's shift. i recall there was a less expensive fix vs. entire dash board?
3) tune-up - need to change plugs. $360 seem right for indy?
4) i'd like to upgrade wheels...thinking of E55's 18's. lots of replicas out there, but i'm thinking of holding out for nice used ones?
5) small amount of water under the CD changer - whattup w/ that?
Can't wait to get this car detailed - and tint the windows
