E420 rear key sensor won't work!

Anyone know why the rear key sensor doesn't work? My 1997 MB E420 key doesn't flash at all. The both sensor on the driver side and rear view mirror are fine. Thanks in advance!

Has the trunk on your car ever been replaced? If not, check the wiring behind it and see if anything has come loose from constantly closing the trunk...

Jimmy, thanks for the reply. After open the cover behind the trunk, I noticed the wire to the sensor was loose. I guess it came loose from constantly closing the trunk. I reconnected it and now its back to normal. Thanks!
