99 E320 transmission adaptation procedure

Does anyone have the transmission adaptation procedure that needs to be done after installing a replacement transmission (used but good) and erasing the codes in ETC ? I checked the sticky notes but couldn't find anything. Thanks.

I regret to advise that to be done correctly you will need a shop has DAS Xentry(Star) diagnostic software or equal. That type of software will read/clear the faults in the transmission module plus the faults stored in the ECU(check engine) and do the control module adaption process. Good Luck!!

Thank you for the info. I intent to purchase a carsoft 7.4 multiplexer which I heard that it should do this job. Just don't have the money to pay the dealership for 2 hours of their time ($140 per hour) to correct this problem.
