Exhaust tips,or new muffler?

Yep, it's an RBtech. The muffler shop cut out my exhaust. $150 installed. They had to cut out the tips of the exhaust and reposition them because they weren't angled right.

OK, for the pre-MY 00 owners, the Remus works just as well on ours if you don't wish to cut out your OEM bumpers.
BTW Stemags, in case you hadn't seen them, these were all in the gallery most of the guys here (including you) posted your pics........

Oh Whitey misses nothing.Thats the strap from the camera kinda got in the way.I am gonna do it myself as soon as the ground is dry enuff.1st I'll put it next to the existing muff to see how it extends from the apron,and to locate where to cut the stock pipes in a staggered fashion as seen on the new one.Dremel the bejesus out of it,and Remus should slide on and attach to the hanger at the rear.

I left the mid muffler to someone else...........
BTW, what camera are you using? Those pix look pretty sharp and clean.

That is an Olympus D340r,,1.3 megapixel,4 yrs old,uses the camedia card for memory,thanks man,it does make nice pics,and I turned down the quality for those shots,easier to adapt to the forum for posting.
Why should I be scared of cutting?I figure it this way.Ill mark the pipes for cutting,leaving a lil bit extra.Fit Remus up in there,and see if I need to take more off the stock pipe.What do you figure the length should be sticking out from the rear?(tip end).2",3",I guess its a matter of how she looks.

It has been mentioned to me that mine looks a bit like a Japanese ricer because it protrudes a lot more than usual. Truth is I never thought about it that way until someone mentioned it - of course I can't cut mine becuase of its shape anyway. Frankly I like the uniqueness.
So I guess the general feeling is:
Short and stubby = Euro
Long and lean = Japanese/ricer
(mmmm, this seems to contradict normal belief/myths ). Come on Jimmy, lets have it........

I think the choice is clear.....as mud
You know by now that I feel a lil obligated to try to keep it close in looks to a euro kinda thing.As evident by my lowering or lack of,Im thinking maybe 1 1/2 " maybe 2.
