Congrats! But Jimmy, for the technically ignorant (that's me!) - which one is it and what does changing it do (wheel alignment?)?

Errrr, which one's the camber and which one's the camber adjustment arm? Sorry, I'm trying to learn here.......I've always left it to my mechanic to take care of my needs (which is not good for my wallet, I know) and I am gradually becoming wiser...........

I have tried to post the new pics. 3 times now and it's still not working. MBWorld is not the same as it was before, it takes forever to post.

Here we go, lets try again. Here is the pic. of the new arm to compare with the old above...

Well, it says I've already attached that pic. before but that's . I'll try the other close-up ones.

Thanx, Jimmy. Does that bolt mean you can adjust your wheel alignment to match whatever height of suspension one has?

Dave, yes you can adjust the alignment in the rear to match the front.

James, it rides like its on rails baby...smooth as glass.

Thanx again Jimmy,

Mine rides OK and alignment looks fine without them - must wait till the tires wear out to see I guess. Then again, you might be sitting lower than me, dunno....

The best part about the arms is that you can pretty much dial in whatever you want without much effort. Close to zero or even a little positive if you're looking for even wear, and plenty of negative when you really want the car to handle.

Precisely! All I have to do is remove the wheel, loosen the locking nuts on both ends, twist the camber to either bring the camber in or out and tighten the nuts back up. It's really simple and yes, it saves your tires. I still don't have my camber perfectly straight as I want a bit better handling and want to match the front. Currently it is set at 1.3 in the rear and 1.5 in the front. It looks and feels great...

How much do these arms cost? Looks like you could make these with some Heim joints and threaded stock.

Well, I'm not that handy or that advanced, heim joints? Anyway, Speedybenz is selling these for $260.00 shipped. Much cheaper than the K-Mac version of the same thing...

Can the front camber be set to zero even after lowering or is it not that adjustable?

The front is adjustable to that degree only with purchasing a set of longer camber bolts. H&R makes a nice set of camber bolts for the front but I'm not using them at the moment because I like the handling of my car with the way it sits at 1.3 all around. The rear uses the camber arms that I installed. If I notice an excessive amount of wear still I will probably get them...
