Hood tab broken - How to open it?
We have had two major snow storms in a week here in Boston.

I just dug out my 1997 E420. I have a misfire and a check engine as well as warning about engine electronics.

It seems someone backed into the grill and broke that pull tab to open the hood.

How do I get it open? I can see a gray broken tab pushed up. I tried maneuvering it. Nothing.

Scan tool say P0300 and P0306 - Random and cyl 6 misfire but they went away after warming. Whew.
