You're right, it does look pretty good. I can't imagine what it would cost to do though...

IMO the roof line and side panels+doors are just too flat for the rest of new look, but that's just opinion:p

The shape of the car looks like a Lexus LS....especially from behind.

I agree, it is a bit flat for the round design but still looks pretty good. I can see that, the look of a Lexus LS...

yeah, the doors and roof line would give the converted look away compared to the W211..however, it's pretty close to the real things, considering they share more or less the same platform, and onl had some milder upgrade with the body styling..

price of the conversion i heard was going to be about US7500 up not including labour..

However, once you do the conversion, its bye bye W210..(and the second hand value of your car. :P)

Actually one of the better conversions compared to the other models, but still not worth the cost..you can problably sell your 210 and get a used 211 for a similar cost.

I might be biased but the W210 looks better than the conversion. How would someone justify spending $4-5k(?) converting a perfectly good looking car into something that is an imposter? I'd feel like an idiot telling anyone that I did all that to my car so that I could appear to be rich. It's kind of like that fiero/ferrari conversions, but to each their own.

Honestly, I think it looks good, because it's a little bit different. I mean, imagine if you put a M120 V12 into a W210 chassis, would you really want your car to look the same than everyone else's? I think the styling cues it borrows from the W203 is great, as long as the car's engine isn't stock.
