W210 18inch AMG monoblock wheels wanted
Hi guys,
New to this forum. I acquired a 1999 E320 and wanted to upgrade the wheels ASAP. Anyone have a decent set of wheels as described above off an E55 for sale? Would love to swap the original 16s. Many thanks.

few years ago, i looked for quite a while for a set in mint condition. I probably
should have settled for okay condition and had them refinished. still, they were
few and far between. i didn't want any of the gaudy chrome versions. in the
end, i couldn't stand the stock 10 hole wheels any longer and ended up fitting
211 AMG twin spoked design onto my car and pretty satisfied. happy shopping
and I hope you find some in reasonable shape

That's exactly my problem. The stock E320 wheels are killing me.
There are plenty of aftermarket wheels out there but, imho, they will "cheapen" the look of this car. Of all the wheels, the E55 monoblocks would really give the car an aggressive stock look.
I guess I'd have to settle for a beat up set on eBay. How much is fair to repair the wheels you'd think?

You also search for center caps ...
Well... ebay at this moment... wanting to avoid cracked or bends that are unrepairable bends.. refinishing/repaint for me local shop cost about $100 a wheel..
http://www.ebay.com/itm/MERCEDES-BEN...xXnkg~&vxp=mtr
Replicas - have been made/imported for both E55 or more common under correct size for SL.. some sell staggered sets ... some sell 4-same-width

as an aside, to give you an idea how badly some folks want these:
a couple of years back, I borrowed my brother's 2000 E320 which wore
monoblocks in mint condition. I parked it in my driveway which just happened
to be below my bedroom window. Just after midnight and I heard a little
something and i peeked between the levelor blinds. couple of yoots were at
the car and were in the process of sliding a floor jack beneath it.
I called Seattle PD who rolled 4 cars plus one K9 unit. 2-3 minutes later, they
synced their arrival and converged from opposite directions to nab the little
SOBs, include a lookout down the block.

Not AMG, but I just removed 18x9 Lorinsers from my wagon, that I am planning to sell.
Have 6 of those rims in decent condition, not perfect.
I had them on W211 with custom bolts and not sure if they would fir W210 with original bolts, but that should be close.
I am on the fence if I want to put them on our newer Mercedes, but good offer sure will make my mind.

You did notice that the wheels separately and the wheels on the car are not the same wheels?
I would not buy wheels on the net with high quality picture of each one.

I did notice this. I contacted the owner. Will see the wheels in person this weekend.
They're not staggered though

Even on non-staggered rims you can put staggered tires.
I remember that 9" rim can take 225-255 width tire, but that will vary between manufacturers.
