E300d gas tank leak
I have noticed a diesel smell in the cabin and upon further inspection, diesel leaked everywhere in the trunk. It looks like it's coming from the side closer to the filler so it's not the strainer however I have no idea what is there and if I can replace the o-ring there.

Pull the covers in the trunk and investigate.
Line everything with paper towels for pinpointing.

Picture?
There is no regulator there, like there is no gas tank on diesel
Very likely you see charcoal canister with breathing system.

35 is fuel pickup with strainer.
Run the tank low and be ready for shower. It takes some big socket to remove that thing.
Have seen recent tread on other forum about it.

The reason why this never happened before is because i turned my car into a nightclub inside. im guessing the subwoofer rattles everything quite hard thanks for the help, ill have to pull the tank out next week as im quite loaded with work and school at the moment

Before you pull the tank, make sure it is not something simple. Your car has a rubber hose that drains the fuel fill area. You can see it on the right side of the fill cap. If it were pulled out of the trunk floor, any spill over would appear on the trunk floor.
