Question subwoofer cuts out all audio

Hi, Guys !
Im driwinf W210 , E200 diesel 1998. This weekend i put in subwoofer, incoming audio signal to subwoofer i took from rear speakers. Each time i turn music loader, all musics, audio cuts off. When i remove those 2 wires, which i connect to rear speakers, music starts again. Anybody knows what to do ? Is there any feature that disables audio, when it is too much for the system. I think it shouldnt bee like that, i have done like that for other my previous cars and its fine, its just a signal

Well, it sounds like you are powering the subs from the rear speaker signal wires, which is a NO-NO! The impedance of the subs probably doesn't match the impedance of the factory system and throwing the OE audio in to protect mode. You are lucky you haven't fried the factory amp/head unit yet. The correct way to rectify this would be to run an after market head unit with pre-amp out puts connected to an aftermarket amp that is rated for your subs OR run a line output converter from the rear speaker signal wires to a set of RCAs into an aftermarket amp then the subs. Hope this helps.
