W210 320cdi estate
Hi there. My W210 320cdi 2002 is in auto box limp mode.
Re-occurring problem. Has had new battery, new conductor plate, new gearbox oil and filter. Fine for 6 months. Is there a OBD tool that will clear transmission fault codes? Usually driven gently locally but went into limp mode after a good fast drive

Standard OBDII scanners won't read TCU codes. You need STAR or an equivalent to do that.

What Strigoi said. See attached schematic and you will see on the W210 the OBD2 port only connects to the ECU. For the TCU, you have to use the 38-pin connector under the hood.

1922 Ford Model T / no OBD
I had my $100 scanner reading TCU codes on post-lifted W210, but this is hit or miss,
The model in topic is not US model, so it might not even have OBD.
