I've not heard of anyone do a 10" front but a few have done the rear without problems. 10" in the front will give you all sorts of rubbing problems and steering response will be extremely sluggish even if it fits. The optimal, in terms of looks and performance would probably be 8.5" in the front. Wheel offset is also critical to the fit, looks and will affect the body roll characteristics. If its a nice fender alignment you want, you can achieve it without a wide wheel.

As for the tire profile, the "35" you'd mention cannot be considered in isolation. It is a %'age of the tire width which is meansured in millimeters and depending on the wheel width, that changes the width you need/can put on. The actual height of the tire therefore changes with the width of the tire. The wider the tire, the higher the actual profile.

Its not that simple ;)

You must mean 18x10 :)

18's usually need 40 series rubber. I'm using 245/35/19, but on an 8 inch wide wheel. (front).

Yes, but how wide are your rims?...

But 245/60 on 18's?...that seems a bit out of proportion, no matter what width the rims.
