E320 w210 2000
I own a 1999 w210 e320 had for 9 years. It was in.better condition than now. I will restore it then I found a 2000 e320 is for sale. Owner states ignition problems. Its 200 miles. I think it could be the key. Owner has no spare. 150.bucks

Ignition module problems (EIS) are very common in this generation of MB cars. The easiest way around it would be to go on eBay and buy an ECU/EIS/key and Steering lock (as a package) and install those components. unfortunately you will probably have to cut the old steering lock out. (just hacksaw it)
I just bought a CLK55 with the same problem.. only thing I could do was manually change it to Neutral so it would roll.
