This part that connects to the charcoal canister?

Hey everyone I'm posting this as a separate question as well as posting it as an update in my other thread in case I can't get eye's on that update.

I'm having difficulties with my 2001 E320. I've fixed a P0455 by replacing both the purge valve under the engine and the plunger valve that sits on the charcoal canister. However a week later I got a P0446 and my car won't take anymore than 3/4 of a fill up without choking. I've removed the charcoal canister and have checked the canister lines and the lines to the purge valve, no blocks when I blow through any of them. The wiring to the plunger valve look exceptional and no visible marring and the protective sleeve is in fine shape.

However this unit that attaches to the canister itself, when I tried blowing through that line marked 525 there was a definite blockage. What is this part? Should I be able to blow through that line?
Is there fuse that works this system? I read somewhere else on entirely different Mercedes model vehicle (it was someone's Mercedes truck) post that someone was having similar difficulties and a pro said they should check fuse 22 under the engine but my fuse box under the engine only goes to 20. I'm thinking maybe the backseat fuse box? Anyone have info on that in respect to a yay or nay and what number designated for the fuse would be?

Also, if I need to can I plug all the lines and put the wheel shroud back in place to use the car temporarily to get parts if I require them?

Thanks MB World!

This is Evap. check valve, if it blocked, it will collapse the amount of Evap. system..!,,

i could be wrong; but never heard about canister or Evap. system fuse..!?!

Hi bro.,

Honestly; not that sure,

i remember one of our friends here, had an issue with this valve, he connect the hoses directly to canister,,

after a while, he forced more pressure in his tank, that damages the main tank sender unit & blows out fuel cap twice..!?!

Ok thanks Zayed. I'll do a meter test on the wiring to the plunger valve but I'm sure that is ok. Something tells me this part is the problem and it's plugged. But then again I'm being hopeful and wishing for a solution. Every other part has been replaced though and the lines are all clear except this one. I'm trying to find the part online but when I type in Mercedes evap check valve I only get the danged purge valve! Do you know if it's called anything else? Thanks again Zayed, huge help!

Any Time bro.,

While you change purge valve & canister check valve, all hoses not clogged, and charcoal canister not blocked,

then this Evap. valve is the only thing to remains,,

also, most important to check the purge valve, if it working or clicking..

Hi Zayed. Yes I've already replaced the purge valve, brand new. Replaced plunger valve, brand new...just this part now. But what is it called? I can't find it online? I check 'evap check valve' and I only get pictures of the purge and plunger valves? I've tried everything including looking at 2001 e320 parts list and it doesn't even show?

Do you know if I can drive the car without the canister hooked up to this? I may need to go for parts?

No answer to this question. The best I've been able to source so far is part number #210 476 06 32 however there is no picture associated with this part here in North America and the cost runs upwards of 400 or more which is way to pricey to take a chance on whether it's the right part or not.

Solved. The car is Japanese made and the part is listed as number 230 in the diagram. However there's no link that works in the page either. According to Zayed in the UAE its an evap check valve but no part number that I can find with a picture to determine for certain what it's replacement cost is.

Will put everything back together, go back into town, get replacement hoses and more worm clamps and then tear everything out again with the expectation of trying to pull that danged part out, clean it and put back in!

Thanks everyone.

Update! Car fixed! No codes, no check engine light. Cleaned this part out with MAF cleaner and reinstalled all good!
