While browsing eBay a few days back I see a fantastic deal on an unused ashtray with Burr Walnut, an empty cutout for the Diesel heater (which I can use to route phone chargers from underneath the center console and more importantly a place for coins!
HOWEVER, pictures of the seller weren't that clear for color and it ended up being of a much lighter tone than what I had.
Question is the following, how can replace the wood flap? I searched quite a bit online, W211s had sliding flaps, W126 had glued flaps, I've seen white spots on the edge of the wood trim connecting it to the plastic:
