O2 sensors on E320 2002 Mileage 252K
Codes pulled show sensor 1 on both bank 1 and bank 2 bad. Sensors never replaced on this car before. Two questions
1. Bosch generic O2 sensor costs less than half compared to OEM. Is it ok to use or not? Is it hard to put together 4 pin connector?
2. Any guide or how to DIY procedure available to do this job. Where are these O2 sensors located on the exhaust system?
very much appreciate your help.

I'd go with OEM as I rarely go for the cheapest option.
As for replacing them just unplug the connector and unscrew the sensor. They'll be by the cats.

The code "should" tell you which O2 sensor - there are "front" and "rear" each side.. check connection 1st as sometime corrosion gets into the connector...
You may find this YouTube helpful... Bosch should have connecting/wire guide info rather than the connector fitting problem this guy had..
