1997 E320 W210/ 722.6 Trans Wiring Harness
Hello All,
I recently had my 1997 E320 go into limp mode. I have found that the wiring harness from the TCU to the tranny does not have any current going through the wires. All 16 of them. I want to change the harness but am unsure how to go about it. Any suggestions? Max |

Please see stickies in W210 forum at Benzworld - replace tranny adapter connector (genuine MB or MOPAR only $14) - and pull and clean Transmission Control Module in engine compartment with 1/2 can of MAF cleaner..

The oil that leaked into the original TCU was very little but I did get another that was completely dry and in good shape.
I didn't know you could change the plug..Does it just unscrew apart? |
Thanks I will do that. Any advise on how to get the TCU out of the case to clean it??
