Rear License plate wire

So I finally got around to removing the rusted on license plate screws and license plate from the previous owner and I found this wire, I'm not sure if I'm just searching the wrong terms but I cannot find what this is supposed to be for. May I get some help?

not factory item so I'm willing to bet that the previous owner installed something like extra lights,
back up camera, or some device. so you'll probably have to end up performing more explorary
such as tracing the wire to its origin for more clues

Looks like a video cable so probably had an aftermarket rear camera that the previous owner removed.

Aha, alright. Thanks, I will attempt to figure out where it goes, and if it's possibly causing my wiper blades in the back to not work for whatever reason.
