cup holder won't lock "down"
 

My over-complicated drink holder suddenly won't stay depressed in it's center console cave. It pops-up & the tines open normally, But, when you fold it up and press it back down in the hole, it won't lock/latch any longer. I can close the door and hold it in that way, but it's pushing at the doors hinges and making it difficult to open - will probably break both eventually. Anyone had any experience or suggestions for repairing this?

Most likely you will need to replace the cup holder. Remove your cup holder from the car and check to make sure the little catch on the plastic is not broken off.
