Well if I was you I would go probly to something like autotrader.com and see how much something as close to what I'm selling is. Add how much you want for all the options that your car has. Then I'd add what i call a "sentiment tax" to help me cope with parting with my dear car (I actually like to leave a little room from what i want to get so i can drop the price emediatly when someone shows up to see the car, makes em think they getting a good deal). When someone comes in, if they dont know what theyre doin, make it sound like you have to practically give it away for some reason like leaving the country.

Used cars have 4 selling values:
1. Trade-in Price
2. Private Party
3. Dealer Retail
4. Certified Dealer Price
You will be lucky if you get more than the trade-in value.
I tried to sell my 98 E430 for 10 month without success and finally traded it in. There is a glut of high end cars on the market and they are over valued. The market is saturated with cars coming back from leases. To sell the car quickly you must really price it low - as close as possible to the trade-in price. Good Luck
