1999 E320 / 1988 BMW 635Csi / 1987 Porsche 911 TL Cab Triple Black
Check engine ?
car is 1999 E320 and has 72K miles in the clock, check engine light came on then off, and on again, reset bateery still does not work, gas cap is tight. Checked with autozone and the code show P0170 and P0173,
So what parts need to be replace ? O2 sensor or Air mass metter ?
BTW, how many O2 is on this car, look like there are 4 oxygen sensor require

Not trying to pull up an old thread, but whatever came of your CEL? Mine just threw a P0170 & P0173 (@42K) and I was thinking about just buying the MAF sensor and replacing it myself. It also seems to do it at half a tank of gas, go figure.

170-173: Air mass sensor.
$230 part. You can replace it yourself, take about 5 min.
Either run it around for few days after replace, the light will go out. Or unplug & plug back the battery. Should fix it. Make sure you have security code for radio of going this path
